I’m Jess, the face behind the lens here at Stories with Soul Photography. I am first and foremost a 34 year old solo mama raising six wild little souls in our home in the Swan Valley of WA.

I have always been one to immerse myself in journalling, savouring even the smallest moments, as I know all too well just how fleeting life can be. Amidst the depths of grief, a passion was born. After loosing my dad, my world was shattered, but it was the absense of tangible memories that hurt the hardest. No photographs existed to evoke the warmth of his smile or the tenderness of his embrace. Born from loss, and fueled by love, with each click of my camera I freeze moments in time, encapsulating the love, joy and connections that make life truly extroadinary.
